Welcome
Novexin Gen innovative technologies and products provide dramatic improvements in the handling and analysis of proteins in solution.
NVoy technology uses novel NV polymers which can enhance protein stability, solubility, purification, analysis and storage in research and commercial use.
Novexin's technology has also been applied to existing formulations to give improved products in protein assay and detection.

- Novexin's NVoy technology is a quantum leap in protein processing, production and analysis as our polymers enhance protein solubility and stability through the formation of multi-point reversible complexes with proteins without altering their structure.
- NVoy offers an alternative to the use of detergents, fusion proteins, chaperones and the myriad of other techniques employed to surmount the problems posed by manipulating proteins, enzymes and antibodies in solution. Its generic nature allows it to be applied throughout the whole protein production process.
- NVoy employs NV molecules (≡NV polymers) which are linear carbohydrate polymers of ∼5KD. Our chemistry modification gives the polymers a hydrophobic face, making them extremely amphipathic.
- The inherent characteristics of these NV molecules enables them to associate with proteins via a Velcro-like effect—“multipoint binding”—and this allows the reversible formation of the NV-Protein complexes without disruption of the protein structure.
- Proteins are therefore protected and stabilised against aggregation enabling the processing of difficult to handle proteins at high concentrations under conditions that would usually result in the formation of useless aggregates.
- This offers multiple benefits for protein processing and production, particularly in the area’s of protein refolding, stabilisation, purification, analysis and crystallisation.
